Hi, I'm Saksham. ​

I’m not a certified therapist, a trained yoga teacher, or a philosopher with a degree.
I’m someone who learned how to live well — slowly, imperfectly, and mostly from people and places that had no certificate to show for it.

The Day I Stopped Running

I know exactly what it feels like to be trapped — not in a cage you can see, but in a life that looks fine from the outside and feels quietly wrong from the inside.
For years, I lived the life that was expected of me. Glued to a screen from 9 AM to 7 PM. Drowning in notifications. Surviving on endless cups of black coffee and cigarettes during breaks. Skipping breakfast, rushing through hurried lunches without a moment of presence or gratitude. Coming home exhausted, lying awake, anxious, waking up already behind.
The toll wasn’t just physical. My relationships suffered. Trust issues grew. I reacted to pressure with immaturity instead of grace — someone who knew, somewhere deep down, that this wasn’t the life he wanted to live, but had no idea how to live differently.

I had lost the thread.

And then one ordinary afternoon — nothing dramatic, no lightning bolt — I paused mid-rush and tried a simple two-minute breathing practice. That small pause cracked something open. It reminded me that the tools I needed had never left. I had learned them long before the corporate years — from grandparents who woke early and moved slowly, who tended their garden with patience, who ate simply and never seemed to be in a hurry.
I had absorbed those habits without knowing it. And then I had buried them under deadlines and noise. That breath brought them back. This blog was born from that moment.

Who I Am

I am a yoga practitioner — self-taught, deeply committed, shaped by years of daily practice rather than a formal training programme. Yoga has taught me how to hold difficult emotions and uncertain moments with the same steadiness as an advanced asana.
 
I am a gardener. I spend time with plants and trees the way some people spend time with close friends — with full attention and genuine care. There is more practical philosophy in a well-tended garden than in most books I have read.
